Privacy at Blackjack Trainer

You can use the core trainer without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we store the account information needed to keep your progress connected to that sign-in: your Google account identifier, email address, email verification status, and your Blackjack Trainer display name.

The app also stores training data such as rules settings, bankroll history, strategy accuracy, mistake history, leaderboard records, ranked challenge progress, weekly recap state, and sync metadata. Anonymous leaderboard entries use a random local identifier generated in your browser.

If you become a Supporter, we store your subscription status and start date, your chosen cosmetic preferences (table theme, card backs and faces, leaderboard name accent, and supporter-heart visibility), and a reference identifier from our payment processor used to manage the subscription. We never receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled entirely by Stripe.

We use your data to run the trainer, remember your settings, sync progress across devices, submit leaderboard scores, show ranked challenge results, and help you review your training history.

Blackjack Trainer is an educational practice tool. It does not offer gambling, betting, financial, legal, or professional advice, and practice results do not guarantee real-world casino outcomes.

The Supporter tier is entirely optional — the full trainer is free, and Supporter unlocks cosmetic-only extras (table themes, card backs and faces, and a leaderboard name accent). It does not change gameplay, rules, or odds.

Supporter checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. Card and payment details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we do not see or store them. We store only your subscription status, start date, chosen cosmetics, and a Stripe reference used to keep your perks in sync.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Cancelling stops future billing; your cosmetic perks remain until the current period ends and then pause.

Sign-in uses secure, HTTP-only authentication cookies. These cookies are needed to keep you signed in and are not readable by app JavaScript.

The app uses browser local storage and session storage to remember training progress, settings, sound preferences, anonymous leaderboard identity, pending sign-in state, and short-lived UI choices. The service worker may cache app pages and assets so the trainer loads faster and can recover better when the network is unreliable.

Blackjack Trainer uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for cookieless page-view analytics. The app may also use Azure Application Insights when configured by the site operator. Application Insights events are used to understand app health and training feature usage; authenticated user identifiers sent to telemetry are hashed rather than sent as raw Google IDs or email addresses.

If you send feedback through the feedback button, your selected sentiment, optional comment, and a small training snapshot may be sent to Application Insights so we can understand the context of the feedback. Do not include sensitive information in feedback comments.

Public leaderboards show display names and scores. They do not show your email address, Google account ID, or local browser token. If you are a Supporter and leave public recognition on, your leaderboard name may also show a supporter heart and your chosen name accent; you can hide the heart from Settings.

We use service providers that help operate the app, including Google sign-in, Azure storage and telemetry, Cloudflare analytics, and Stripe for processing optional Supporter subscriptions. These providers process data according to their own policies and the services they provide to the app.

If you are signed in, you can delete your Blackjack Trainer account from Settings. Leaderboard rows tied to your signed-in account are hidden immediately and cloud sync is disabled for that Google sign-in.

Cloud state may be retained for a short grace period so you can restore access if the deletion was accidental. Local data on your current device is not wiped automatically by account deletion; you can reset local training history from Settings.

If you have an active Supporter subscription, cancel it from the Stripe customer portal (via Settings) before deleting your account — deleting your account here does not automatically end Stripe billing.
